MAMA Awards just released its list of nominees!

On 24 October, the coveted Korean music award unveiled its star-studded lineup of nominees which includes some of the best names in K-pop like BTS, j-hope, BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE, GOT7, Girls Generation, EXO's Kai, TAEYEON, Stray Kids, KANGDANIEL, NCT DREAM, NewJeans, TWICE, TXT, TREASURE, IU, and more. 

Here's how to watch the 2022 MAMA Awards

While most of the categories will be decided by a panel of judges and global music data, the Worldwide Fans' Choice is a fan-voted category that will determine the most popular K-pop acts based on the number of votes they receive. To vote for your favourite act, you can vote for your favourite artists via Mnet Plus, Spotify, and Twitter.

The MAMA Awards will be happening on 29-30 November at the Kyocera Dome, Osaka, Japan. Earlier this year, the awards show recently changed its name from the Mnet Asian Music Awards as a way to further expand its presence in Asia, with the ambition of positioning itself as the top K-pop award. 

Tickets for the MAMA Awards 2022, priced at JPY 40,000 (2-day pass) and JYP 22,000 (1-day pass), are available for purchase here.
