BTS' Jin and RM have tested positive for COVID-19.
The news comes after BIGHIT Music confirmed yesterday that BTS member SUGA has tested positive for the virus. In a statement released by BIGHIT Music on Weverse, the record label revealed that RM, who recently returned from the US last 17 December, tested positive for COVID-19 today (25/12), when he took an RT-PCR test before his scheduled release from quarantine.
Meanwhile, Jin, who arrived back in Korea earlier than RM, tested negative upon arrival from the US, and negative once more upon release from quarantine. However, he was feeling flu-like symptoms this afternoon, and decided to get tested. Jin was confirmed COVID-19 positive earlier tonight.
Both members are fully vaccinated having completed two doses of the vaccine last August, and are currently undergoing self-treatment at home. Neither of them has had contact with any other of the BTS members.

However, he underwent PCR testing today before his scheduled release from quarantine and was found to be positive for COVID-19; he is currently exhibiting no particular symptoms.
Jin returned to Korea on Monday, December 6 and underwent PCR testing immediately after his return and again before his release from self-quarantine, and was found negative on both occasions. However, feeling flu-like symptoms this afternoon he underwent PCR testing and was found positive for COVID-19 late this evening. He is exhibiting mild symptoms including light fever, and is undergoing self-treatment at home.
RM and Jin both completed their second round of COVID-19 vaccinations in late August, and are currently undergoing self-treatment at home as per health authority guidelines. Neither member had any contact with other members after their return to Korea.
