BTS share their best memories at 'PROOF Live,' debut live performance of 'Yet To Come' with Anderson .Paak

It's been a good nine years for BTS. There's so much to say about these seven young men, now in their mid and late twenties, living their best lives, all while changing the lives of fans all across the globe. This time around, they return to the desert for their latest virtual show PROOF Live.

PROOF Live ran for a little over 25 minutes. It was a pretty short set—three songs and a story—but fans treasured every second of it. From the moment they performed 'Born Singer', to Anderson .Paak joining them on the drums for the live debut of 'Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)', and down to their closing performance with 'For Youth', BTS delivered a glimpse of the "textbook" of their music.

"I love it. It reminds me of church," Anderson .Paak said when RM asked him for his first impressions of the new song. RM then went on to recall how the group spent time with Anderson at the GRAMMYs and at each other's concerts. It was a wonderful moment, to see the friendship between BTS and Anderson.

The group then sat down to share their most memorable stories of being in the group. "BTS' best moment is yet to come," RM said, opening up the conversation about the highlights of their career together. "But I'm sure each of us has our own best moments."

J-hope shared first, saying that it was the day that BTS was born. "June 13. That day means a lot to me," he said. "That was probably the best moment for me. I still get emotional thinking about it."

For Jimin, it's all about the live shows. He said, "And you know BTS isn't BTS without concerts. There was the day we had our first solo concert. The beginning of our best moments, in my opinion."

Looking back at their showcase day on 12 June 2013, Suga revealed he'd been thinking a lot about their time on the basement floor of the Ilchi Art Hall.

"I've had many great moments, but you know how we used to say we shouldn't retire before performing at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena? We used to say that a lot," RM opened up. "I think it was The Most Beautiful Moment in Live ON STAGE: EPILOGUE, when we first had a concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. That day was one of my best moments."

V then said that the best moment for him was when their youngest member, Jungkook, would cry. He shared, "For me, it was those days when Jungkook would cry if I asked, 'Are you crying?' That was the best moment for me. But he has changed."

"People change. People change, we're not people if you don't," Jungkook commented, and to that, V replied, "Of course, I've changed too."

Jungkook then took a second to talk about his best moment. "The best moment for me, although there were lots of great moments, was the day when I joined this company. That moment changed my whole future. I believe BTS wouldn't exist without me," he quipped.

Lastly, Jin said, "I know I need to pick only one moment but every single moment was truly the best moment for me, if you ask me."

With their anthology album, PROOF, BTS go on to wrap up the first chapter of their lives. While it may seem like goodbye to many, there truly still are a lot of moments to look forward to in the future. "Everyone will be surprised," the group said at one point during the show. And they're right, as the best moment has surely yet to come.
