CARELESS Music has big plans for the new year.

In an announcement made via a global press conference on 21 November, the Manila-based music label revealed three new artists that have joined their roster: Filipino indie star August Wahh, American singer-songwriter Destiny Rogers, and Filipino alternative pop band SOS.

Centred on passion and artistry, CARELESS' new signings mark an exciting era for both the label and their new artists, as they continue to move towards their goal of propelling good music to the global stage.

"Entertainment has shifted, it's just different [...] So for us, it's about finding the right partners—not just with the artists we sign and the artists we collaborate with but the distributors we work with. The entertainment game has been completely democratized. I would say what you can look out for is unexpected or outside-the-box collaborations, along with more visibility on the ground internationally,” said CARELESS Music CEO Jeffrey Oh

Destiny Rogers is no stranger to the CARELESS team, having recently collaborated with James Reid on his track 'lie to me' off of his latest album, lovescene:. Born and raised in California, the singer signs with CARELESS as her Asia talent management as she plans to further grow her music beyond borders.

Destiny will be releasing a new track with CARELESS, in partnership with Beach Wave Sound, on 3 December PHT

August Wahh comes as the latest independent act to join CARELESS. Having been around the indie music scene for the last couple of years, the singer-songwriter has made a name for herself with her signature neo-soul sound.

As she begins her new journey with CARELESS, the 'Blurred Lines' act shares that there will be an array of new music on the way and hopes to bridges gaps in the local music community.

Much like August, SOS—formerly known as She's Only Sixteen—has navigated through their music career as independent artists, building themselves to be one of the most recognised indie bands in the country. With 15 years under their belt, the band is starting a new chapter of their journey alongside CARELESS Music.

Beyond their new signees, James also teased an array of projects coming for 2023, including his North America tour from the end of January to February. More details to follow soon.
