Dipha Barus to take over the Metaverse at Bandwagon Pixel Party, here's everything you need to know

Dipha Barus is heading to the Metaverse!

As part of Bandwagon's virtual concert series Pixel Party, the music media company is bringing the Indonesian DJ and his genre-diverse beats to the Metaverse this 10 April at 10 PM SGT (9 PM JKT) via Decentraland

Dipha Barus comes as the latest artist—as well as the first regional act—to perform at Bandwagon Pixel Party following Forests and MYRNE's concerts earlier this year. The concert series is made in partnership with production company EBX and virtual real estate community Mettaverse with the mission to bring music fans a virtual concert experience like never before while spotlighting talents across Asia.

Here's everything you need to know about joining Dipha Barus at the latest run of Bandwagon Pixel Party.

Characterised for his seamless transition between pop and house and for his incorporation of traditional Indonesian musical elements, Dipha Barus is one of the country's most prolific DJs. Existing between the planes of contemporary dance music and indigenous Indonesian sounds, the 'All Good' hitmaker has performed in festivals all across the globe. Now, he's coming to the Metaverse.

Dipha Barus is most known for his track 'All Good' in collaboration with fellow Indonesian act Nadin Amizah, and 'Money Honey' featuring Monica Karina. He most recently released 'Keep It Hush' featuring Afghan and Esther Geraldine

Decentraland is a game-like, virtual open-world platform that allows users to create avatars, roam through digital environments, interact with others, and attend super-cool events (like Bandwagon Pixel Party). Think of it as one of the gateways to the Metaverse.

Users can also connect their digital wallets to collect and access their NFTs.

The great part about Bandwagon Pixel Party is that anyone from anywhere in the world can tune in. Not restricted to locations and venue capacities, it's pretty simple to dance your heart out to Dipha Barus from wherever you are—all you'll need is a good computer that can handle the entire Metaverse experience.

To enter the Metaverse with the Indonesian DJ, you just need to register for a Decentraland account and customise your own avatar. And to add to your experience, you can even connect your digital wallet via Metamask where you can store your in-world process and access your digital assets—like your Bandwagon POAP (Proof Of Attendance Protocol). Check out how to set up your Metamask wallet below.

The first 500 attendees to Bandwagon Pixel Party can collect a POAP, which are essentially like digital wristbands showing you attended the event. These will give you access to Bandwagon's future NFT drops, raffles, and more.
