Flight Facilities make surprise appearance at luxury store opening in Manila – watch

Flight Facilities have long been on the wish list of Manila fans for festivals, but the duo never made it to our shores - until now. The Australian duo finally made their Manila debut via the opening party of a luxury store in Manila on Thursday night. (7/20)

Fresh off their Boiler Room performance, Hugo Gruzman and James Lyel flew in from Australia to play an exclusive DJ set for the guests of the luxury brand. We last caught them live in Singapore's Neon Lights Festival in 2015, where they donned their usual pilot outfits and closed the festival whilst it was pouring, resulting in not one but three encores. For this fashionable occasion, the boys opted to stick to tailored suits instead.

We're hoping to see the producer duo back in Manila soon, preferably in one of next year's many summer music festivals. In the meantime, here are a couple of clips from their performance:

Local DJ Jess Milner also shared how much she loved the duo's set, especially their song choices.

Dara David-Roa, occasional musician and full-time founder of Collab Contessa (responsible for The Gourmand Market & The BGC Market), evidently enjoyed their two-hour set and claimed how they are now BFFs in her happiness.
