Flying Lotus and Anderson .Paak star in grisly new animated music video for 'More' – watch

"Your ego is your seed".

Those words are etched across a table in Flying Lotus and Anderson .Paak's new vibrant animated music video for their latest single, 'More'. In the video, directed by Cowboy Bebop's Shinichiro Watanabe, an astronaut, closely resembling Lotus, crash lands on a planet and comes across a robot, labeled "Anderson .Paak", which proceeds to play .Paak's verses. Towards the end of the song, the Lotus-lookalike morphs into an otherworldly tree, made of human organs, adding to the planet's landscape of weird flora.

Of the video, director Watanabe had this to say:

Flying Lotus’ sound and Anderson Paak’s rap on this track are just incredible. Their work greatly inspired me to direct this music video for them with some of the finest anime talents in Japan." He added: "Our creative team worked really hard to create this video for Lotus and we hope we did justice to this wonderful new track. Please enjoy!

The track is off his forthcoming album Flamagra, set to be released 24 May
