&TEAM is set to be the first artists to debut under HYBE Labels Japan. The Japanese group have been in the talks for the last couple of years, with fans all over the world anticipating their debut. Initially comprising 4 members, &TEAM now sees a total of 9 members following the success of their reality competition show &AUDITION – The Howling

Comprising K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki, &TEAM is set to debut on 7 December 2023. Centred around unity and connection, the group plans to showcase their distinctive and collective talents in hopes of connecting with fans in Japan and beyond.

HYBE AMERICA's GLOBAL AUDITIONS

Last year, HYBE announced their partnership with Universal Music Group to pioneer the "next great era for music". Since then, the two music powerhouses have launched a global audition in search of their next girl group, which has seen almost 100,000 submissions from aspiring artists that come from an array of backgrounds.

The selected contestants are currently undergoing training at HYBE America's Training & Development program that puts together the best of the K-pop and American music industry and sees collaborations with some of the "very best people that have made the biggest pop records in the last decade".

More announcements regarding HYBE's global girl group will be revealed soon.

HYBE INTERACTIVE MEDIA

This year, HYBE released BTS Island: IN THE SEOMa mobile puzzle-adventure game that follows the story of BTS as they find themselves on a deserted island. Developed alongside the members themselves, the title includes several storylines and hidden gems that parallel BTS, giving fans another avenue to connect with the global pop group.

As the new year approaches, HYBE will continue to create new IPs and games that focus on an immersive universe that fans and players can dive into.

WEVERSE

Throughout the last two years, HYBE has focused on building Weverse, the company's fan community platform, to encompass the entire fan experience. Wanting to be a one-stop destination for everything from fan-to-artist communication and e-comments, Weverse has grown to be one of the largest community platforms, housing acts like BTS, SEVENTEEN, BLACKPINK, iKON, TXT, ENHYPEN, CL, and more.

As HYBE and Weverse move forward, they want to continue to evolve the fan experience and pioneer new services and content. This year, the company has introduced digital photocards including Momentica. Made in partnership with Web3 company Dumamu, Momentica is a new platform that host digital NFTs made for fans.

Similar to real-life photocard collections, Momentica will allows fans to collect a series of digital cards, which also include audio messages and videos, from their favourite HYBE artists and exchange them with their friends.

THE CITY PROJECT

As part of selected artists tours, HYBE has started a new project called THE CITY. Starting with BTS' Las Vegas residency for their Permission To Dance concert series, THE CITY transform an entire city into the ultimate artist experience with a range of diverse activities.

Whether it was painting Las Vegas purple for BTS' concerts or colouring several Japanese cities orange for SEVENTEEN's Be The Sun Japan tour, the new project aims to bring the fan experience outside of the concert venues. In 2023, HYBE plans on expanding THE CITY project to more artists and cities.
