Singaporean live entertainment entity IMC Live Global is holding a Battle of the Bands this year: 跨乐天团 Battle of Bands 2022.

Bands from Singapore and Malaysia of all music genres may participate in the competition. The grand winners will be awarded $20,000, an opportunity for a management contract with IMC Group Asia, an ESP USA Tele Resin guitar, one Sennheiser Professional microphone, a Yamaha 88-Keys Keyboard, a set of customised in-ear monitors, as well as a 6-month KKBOX Lossless subscription for each band member.
For the 1st and 2nd runners-up, they will receive $5,000 each respectively, as well as custom in-ear monitors, and a 6-month KKBOX Lossless subscription.

The judging panel is made up of prominent figures in the local and regional music circuit, namely, Kenn C, Jim Lim, Mac Chew, Song Ke, A-Fu, and Tso Hung Chung. The competitors will be fully judged based on their evaluation of the band’s quality of performance, live experience, x-factor, and stage presence.
In order to participate, bands must register by the 30th of April on their website here. Shortlisted contestants will then be contacted by IMC Live Global for an audition video of the band.
