It All Started In May marked a major milestone on 29 May as the rising OPM outfit celebrated two years together with a sold-out anniversary gathering, Saan Nagsimula? – Ikalawang Anibersaryo, at The Millas Cafe in Cubao, Quezon City.
The intimate fan event doubled as both a celebration and a showcase of the band's rapid ascent. Formed in May 2024, the group spent the evening reflecting on their journey alongside the supporters who have been with them since the beginning. The occasion also coincided with the first anniversary of their breakout debut single, 'O' Kay Tamis', which has since amassed more than one million streams on Spotify.
Beyond revisiting past milestones, the night also ushered in a new chapter for the band with the launch of their latest single, 'Di Ko Man Masambit'. Released on the same day as the event, the track quickly found its way onto Spotify's New Music Friday Philippines playlist before earning spots on 'All New OPM' and '.ph'.
Fans were treated to a packed programme that featured performances from It All Started In May, alongside special guest sets from Ian Quiruz and Shirebound. One of the evening's highlights came when attendees received an exclusive first look at the music videos for 'Paraiso' and 'Di Ko Man Masambit' ahead of their wider release on Universal Records' YouTube channel.
The celebration also drew fellow Universal Records artists brei and girl group FINA, with member Heaven making an appearance following her role in the 'Paraiso' music video.
While the anniversary event served as a moment to look back, it also underscored the band's growing momentum. Less than 24 hours later, It All Started In May returned to the stage for the HONOR 600 Series First Day Sale at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall before heading to Jess & Pat's for another performance later that evening.
With upcoming appearances scheduled across Cavite, Katipunan, Quezon City, and Baguio throughout June, the band appears determined to carry the energy of its anniversary celebration into an increasingly busy year ahead.
