The three-day, two-night music festival is set to embark from Singapore and will take place on world-class cruise liner, the Genting Dream. IT'S THE SHIP is also known for its signature-themed pop-up parties, premium dining experiences, exhilarating thematic activities, as well as performances from artists across the globe.
The main theme for the upcoming event is "reunion," so we might see past shipmates onboard again. These include the likes of Baywatch’s David Hasselhoff, Crazy Rich Asian’s Henry Golding, Knife Party, Lil Jon, Krewella, Yellow Claw, Darude, 88rising and many more. Some shipmates can even contribute to how the IT'S THE SHIP experience will be shaped this time around.
"The combined love and support we received from our shipmates and most importantly our DuckDrop community was an integral part of ITS THE SHIP’s plans for the future. Duck holders can influence what happens onboard, and we look forward to planning this event and more together." Samira Davidson, Project Lead of IT’S THE SHIP, shared in a press release. "To our DuckDrop community, we have a lot more to announce! [...] Duck holders will be the first to know all about IT’S THE SHIP’s plans, get ready to be rewarded for your loyalty and participation."
In 2022, IT'S THE SHIP released its first NFT collection—DuckDrop—that doubles as community membership and gives holders in-real-life experiences aboard, including free cabins, lifetime discounts, backstage access, and voting rights to voice out what they'd want to see in future IT'S THE SHIP experiences.
Ookay, Ben Nicky, DJ Hyo (of Girls Generation fame), and more have previously performed at IT'S THE SHIP. Their waiting list and DuckDrop NFT are both available on their website.
