Set in the 1970s, the animated film follows the origin story of young Gru and his Minions, as they grow to be one of the most despicable crews the world has ever known. It comes as the latest instalment to the successful Despicable Me franchise.
In line with the film's time period, the soundtrack features covers of some of the '60s and '70s biggest songs, as well as original retro-inspired tracks. The lead single 'Turn Up The Sunshine' is the highly anticipated collaboration between Diana Ross and Tame Impala.
