Two of music's brightest stars have shared the stage in the presence of lucky, lucky fans. 

John Mayer performed in Tokyo, Japan earlier tonight and those in attendance were treated to a special surprise: Ed Sheeran came out as a special guest. Sheeran joined Mayer onstage for two songs, Mayer's 'Belief' and Sheeran's very own 'Thinking Out Loud'. 

The stars aligned for many as Sheeran happened to be in town, having played in Tokyo the night before.

This, however, isn't the first time the two have been paired together, as they performed a couple of times together in 2015. Check out one of those performances here.
