Get to know Jun Regalado in new mini-documentary 'The most recorded drummer in the Philippines' – watch

It's time to get to know more about Jun Regalado.

Last month, Arbie Bulaong's mini-documentary about the prolific Filipino drummer, titled The most recorded drummer in the Philippines!, premiered on YouTube. The seven-minute video tells the story of Regalado, who has been in the industry for over 55 years, and how he became the most recorded and in-demand drummer in the country from '70s Manila.

Regalado recorded around 400 albums, including the works of the Mabuhay Singers and Jun Polistico, under Villar Records, as well as Hagibis, Rey Valera, Gary Valenciano, Dale Adriatico, Ryan Cayabyab, Eddie Munji III, Coritha, Celeste Legaspi, Apo Hiking Society, Basil Valdez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sharon Cuneta, Sherry Simons, VST & Co., and many more.

He also performed on ABS-CBN's noontime variety show STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN.

In 1977, the drummer recorded 'I Found It' and 'Pinoy Funk' for a solo album project. Unfortunately, the record didn't come into fruition due to his busy schedule.

Regalado continues to play drums to this day. He also offers lessons and runs a drum clinic.
