JYP Entertainment are debuting a new girl group for February 2022. 

Known for having produced popular music acts such as Wonder Girls, Miss A, TWICE, and ITZY, JYP Entertainment released a cryptic teaser titled “Blind Package” through their social media pages on 8 July.

On 9 July, they revealed it was about the upcoming debut of a new girl group through a poster on their Twitter page. The poster includes the title “YOUR NEXT FAVOURITE GIRL GROUP” alongside the dates 16 July to 25 July, which is the presale period where fans will be able to purchase the “Blind Package”.

The “Blind Package” will consist of a limited edition CD, photo book, photo card, poster, premium membership card, and polaroid. 

This new girl group will be part of JYP Entertainment’s new 4th division of artists, which includes the likes of Wonder Girls’ Sunmi, 2AM’s Jinwoon, 2PM’s Nichkhun, and more. They will be managed by a new team led by the company’s first female executive director, Lee Ji Young.
