Having to stay at home due to circuit breaker measures right now may be suffocating, but not everyone has the ability to do so in the same safe space.

On Tuesday (28/04), Singaporean singer-songwriter LEW, known for his emotionally visceral songwriting, took to Instagram to announce that he will be donating three months of revenue from his EP, Red Flags, to Star Shelter, a shelter that operates under the umbrella of the Singapore Council of Women's Protection. It offers refuge to women and children experiencing domestic violence, providing meals, accommodation, and counselling. While the shelter is assisted by government grants, it also depends on annual fundraising projects and donations to continue running.

"Sometimes we take for granted the safety and warmth of our home, whilst others suffer BECAUSE they are home," he writes. "I want to donate 3 months of my revenue from the ‘Red Flags' EP. What YOU can do is to stream the hell out of it, share it with your friends, and of course if you can, donate directly to the organisation."
