"Pasensya na." Marcus Adoro sends a message to Syd Hartha and asks fans for continuous support for the Eraserheads reunion concert

Marcus Adoro has finally broken his silence.

On 26 September, the Eraserheads guitarist, who has been accused of abuse by ex-partner Barbara Ruaro and daughter Syd Hartha in 2019, shared a statement via his Instagram page. In his first public statement since the allegations surfaced, Adoro claimed that he has lost contact with his daughter. He also shared that he decided to make the post public as he has been trying to reach her through his manager, and was not sure if his messages were getting through.

According to a report by NME last week, both Ruaro and Hartha's camps stated that Adoro nor his representatives have not reached out for any attempts at reconciliation.

In his post, Adoro wrote: "Syd, san ka man. I hope you're doing well. As you already know, I'm far from perfect kaya normal if you want nothing to do with me. Sana lang magkaron ng second chance for redemption. I'm sorry for the ruckus that I may have caused my family, the public, the sponsors, and my bandmates. Pasensya na."

He also added that he wanted to thank everyone supporting the upcoming Eraserheads concert this December. Adoro asked for continuous support for the Eraserheads reunion, saying "Alay po sa ating lahat ito."

The highly-anticipated Eraserheads "reunion concert" was announced last week, with fans clamouring for Adoro's removal from the lineup. Drummer Raymund Marasigan, vocalist Ely Buendia, and bassist Buddy Zabala have all issued their respective statements ahead of Adoro's post. Zabala, in particular, has emphasised his support for Huaro and Hartha via in interview with Rappler, saying "I sincerely hope all parties start processing what they went through and receive the help they need. They have my support."

In their Huling El Bimbo concert, the Eraserheads are set to reunite as a 4-piece on 22 December 2022 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
