Every year, Music Matters Live aims to bridge the gap between independent acts and the best of the music industry, in Asia and beyond.
As the annual initiative has been cultivating the cross-cultural platform, inviting acts all over Southeast Asia and Australia to perform in showcases, this year continues the tradition — and the call-out has officially been launched.
SingJazz Festival 2016 helped made it possible for us to bring you this week's news. (What is this?)
Music Matters Live is currently calling out from bands all over the region to apply. Selected entrants will get access to the festival's numerous conferences and will garner the chance to perform at various showcases on September 11th and 12th.
With the festival alumni boasting established and emerging names such as Simple Plan, The Jezabels, Gentle Bones, Boyce Avenue, Dru Chen and BP Valenzuela, this year is set to attract thousands of industry professionals, musicians and revellers.
Apply for Music Matters Live here. Submit your application before March 31st.
