Peatix Live debuts with Singaporean AmanderSings for livestream concert

We have no idea when live concerts are able to return, but it seems livestream concerts are slowly but surely filling the gaps.

International artists are trying to stay connected with their fans by holding livestream concerts now that they are unable to go on a world tour. Emerging Singaporean artist, AmanderSings is the latest to join the slew of artists riding the livestream concert wave. Global event management and ticketing platform, Peatix will be collaborating with the local songstress to have their very first ticketed livestream concert on Peatix Live, a new streaming solution for event organizers to create paid online live experiences.

Co-produced by music and media agency AMSR, the "PICK MY NEXT SINGLE!" event will be held on 12 September, 9pm SGT. AmanderSings will be performing crowd-favourite track 'Queen', which has amassed over 70,000 Spotify streams, alongside other beloved hits.

Most importantly, fans will get to hear unreleased tracks to vote for her next single slated to be released later this year, which explains the event title.

According to the Peatix website, fans will also get to enjoy originals and song covers by Amander accompanied with the debut performance of her live backing band.

The singer-songwriter took to Instagram to express her excitement for the debut event, revealing that there would also be a live Q&A session to interact with her fans.

As Peatix Live is a global live streaming platform, this would support up-and-coming artists to extend beyond the local fanbase, and allow audiences from any part of the world to purchase tickets and tune in.

“Through Peatix Live, emerging artists can gain greater accessibility to new audiences across the globe. This feature facilitated this reach and nurtures a healthy ecosystem for paid and exclusive music events to continue in the online sphere without hassle,” Peatix Asia marketing lead, Michelle Leong said.

Early bird tickets priced at S$4 are on sale from now til 1 September.
Standard tickets priced at S$6 will go on sale from 2 September. Get your tickets here
