Filipino music took centre stage at the 39th Awit Awards, with artists across pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, folk, and more recognised at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on 15 September.
Among the night's winners were SB19, IV of Spades, Dionela, Janine Berdin, Ben&Ben, fitterkarma, Lola Amour, Typecast, One Click Straight, Project Yazz, and Nicole.

SB19 picked up three awards for 'Dungka', taking home Best Pop Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and Best Music Video. The music video was directed by Kerbs Balagtas.
The P-pop group's leader, PABLO, was also named Songwriter of the Year alongside RADKIDZ.
IV of Spades took home two of the night's major honours, with 'Aura' named Song of the Year and Andalucia winning Album of the Year.

Dionela also scored three wins with 'Ikigai', his collaboration with Loonie. The track received Best Collaboration, Best R&B Recording, and Best Rap/Hiphop Recording.
Elsewhere, fitterkarma's 'Pag-ibig ay Kanibalismo II' was named Record of the Year, while Nicole received Best New Artist and Brian Lotho was named Producer of the Year.
Janine Berdin earned Best Ballad Recording and Best Performance by a Solo Artist for 'What if I miss you for the rest of my life', while Ben&Ben received Best Performance by a Group for 'Saranggola'.

Lola Amour's 'Love on Loop' took Best World Music Recording, while Typecast won Best Rock/Metal Recording for 'Rapture' and One Click Straight received Best Alternative Recording for 'Telepono'.
Project Yazz also picked up two awards, winning Best Jazz Recording for 'Yamot-Ennui' and Best Traditional Contemporary Folk Recording for 'Malalim ang Gabi'.
