Shawn Wasabi drops playful Animal Crossing tribute in time for game release – listen

Shawn Wasabi just dropped the ultimate bop to go with your Animal Crossing experience this weekend.

The Los Angeles-based producer and magical presser of buttons is making the best of his time in quarantine with a tribute song to Animal Crossing with singer Sophia Black, which he released on streaming platforms on Friday (03/20).

"I haven’t left my house in over a week because of the COVID-19 quarantine here in Los Angeles, California! But the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons game just came out and it’s the one thing I’m looking forward to sitting at home and playing all day," Shawn tells Bandwagon in a message. "We made this lovely song about the game! Also much love to all my family, friends, and fans in the Philippines! Salamat and mahal ko kayo!"

Here's what IV of Spades, Munimuni, Sandwich, UDD, and more are up to at home during the "community quarantine"

While video game stores in the Philippines are closed due to the current COVID-19 lockdown, fans may download the game via the Nintendo eShop for $59.99 (approx. PHP 3,061).

Fans who pre-ordered Animal Crossing: New Horizons at DataBlitz will be able to avail their physical copies with a free gift certificate of PHP 500 at the end of the "community quarantine."
