SIFA 2022 continues online!
After a round of immersive events and programmes across different spaces, the excitement of the coveted international arts festival continues with SIFA On Demand and Life Profusion with +EAT and +READ.
Whether you want to go on another sonic and visual journey of Southeast Asian native culture with MEPAAN or unbox digital capsules by SYNDICATE, here's how you can relive this year's SIFA.
SIFA ON DEMAND
If you missed out on SIFA's programmes this year, don't fret. Until 10 July, the festival is hosting online recordings—complete with key moments, selected interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage—of three of this year's creations: MEPAAN, Ceremonial Enactments, and Bangsawan Gemala Malam. The festival is also still holding online screenings for sci-fi artist Lucy McRae's Delicate Spells of Mind.
Tickets, priced at SGD 15 for a single show and SGD 25 for a bundle of 4, are available for purchase via SIFA's official website.
+EAT
As part of SIFA 2022's focus on showcasing a diverse range of artworks across a multitude of realms, the festival created a virtual venue Life Profusion, to continue the SIFA conversation and experience with a platform for critical discourse and ideas generation in art which features various avenues including +EAT.
+EAT is a series of bite-size "seasonal digital capsules" of music and art, curated by local tastemakers SYNDICATE. Throughout the festival run, the platform has featured an array of local and regional artists coming together to create enchanting artworks. Some of the artists featured include YEULE, Weish, Shelhiel, BGourd, Brandon Tay, Claud Glass, and more.

+READ
Life Profusion also features +READ, a hub for written articles that explore the artistry of SIFA 2022, all curated by journalist Hong Xinyi. Whether its responses to +EAT capsules or pandemic-fueled reflections, the platform is a one-stop shop for engaging and thought-provoking literary art.
