Singapore concertgoers were left frustrated and confused after Indonesian singer, Nadhif Basalamah’s show at Foo Chow Hall started three hours earlier than advertised, with many fans only discovering the change after the concert had already ended.
The concert, initially slated for 8 PM, actually began at around 5:30 PM. The change in schedule had been quietly posted on organiser Banyak Bagus Entertainment’s Instagram story on 11 September, but many ticket holders reported receiving no direct email or formal notice. For some, the night turned into a bitter disappointment. One TikTok user shared that she and her sister managed to catch just one song after arriving at 7:45 PM, while another fan revealed they had flown in all the way from Brunei only to miss the entire performance.

When frustrated fans voiced their complaints online, comments on Instagram were allegedly deleted or hidden, further fuelling anger. One attendee pointed out that tickets clearly stated “no refund,” calling it irresponsible for organisers not to properly notify concertgoers. Another said they had even taken leave from work specifically to attend the show, only to miss nearly everything.
On the night itself, Nadhif Basalamah apologised directly to the crowd for the miscommunication, noting that only around 40 people were present when the concert began. The organisers later sent an email on 13 September apologising for the “inconvenience” and thanking fans for attending. But for many, the damage had already been done, with some vowing never to attend another concert by Banyak Bagus Entertainment again.
