LUCfest, Taiwan's annual music conference and artist showcase, has opened applications for performances in their upcoming festival.
The festival 'for lucky people' will return from 27-29 November 2020 in Tainan. LUCfest aims to be the platform for cultural exchange between Taiwan and the international stage by featuring a myriad of local Taiwanese stars as well as international artists. Previously, LUCfest had seen the likes of Eggplantegg, She's Only Sixteen, M1LDL1FE, Bahr, Bottlesmoker, Gestalt Girl, similarobjects, Nights Of Rizal, Taken By Cars, Tiny Giant, The Homesick, SURL, and more, performing at 6 different venues across the city.
Applications for performing live at LUCfest 2020 are now open till Thursday, 9 July 2020 and interested artists may send in their applications on their website here. International artists are more than welcome to apply, but due to the current travel restrictions, artists will only be informed of their participation for LUCfest 2020 by the last week of September. LUCfest also added that they would keep all applications in mind till 2021 if international travel is not feasible for this year's edition.
