Taiwanese rock veterans MAYDAY return to Singapore for ‘Just Rock It’ tour

Taiwanese rock band MAYDAY (五月天) return to Singapore  for their latest 2016 ‘Just Rock It’ tour ahead of the release of their 9th studio album aptly entitled Album No.9, set for release on the 21st of July.

With a career spanning almost two decades, they’ve released eight studio albums, won over 150 awards, and have been bestowed various titles as “The Chinese Beatles”, along with the “King of Concert” in China.

Snarky Puppy Live in Singapore 2016 helped made it possible for us to bring you this week's news. (What is this?)

Modern jazz-fusion adventurers Snarky Puppy will set Singapore alight with a night of soulful jams and instrumental excursions in June. Get your tickets now before they’re all gone!

We expect no less than a feast-for-the-senses show, which they’ve promised to deliver using “state of the art LED screens... lighting and props”.

Since their last appearance at Singapore Grand Prix’s F1 Rocks in 2014, MAYDAY has amped up their live show with the addition of reputed concert director LeRoy Bennett to their production team. Bennet has worked with several prominent international artists such as Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars and BIGBANG, and has even had a hand in orchestrating the Annual Grammy Awards.
