The Apex Project is a team of five talented and established singers, who — with their powers combined — have formed an a capella group. After numerous YouTube covers over the past year alone, they will be launching their debut EP ADAM on 15 July.

Led by the winner of Singapore’s first Campus Superstar Cheeyang Ng, the quintet infuses jazz and musical theatre into their work. Over the past year of their music journey, The Apex Project has amassed awards from as far as Taiwan.

The team also includes other notable singers, like Starhub’s Hear Me Sing winner Jean Goh Sijia, Acachamps Taiwan and Singapore champion Yvonne Ng, Campus Superstar Top 20 Alejandro Houlu and former music director of SMU Voix, Kevin Wijono.

Their first single off ADAM, 'Chasing Rainbows', emulates electropop almost perfectly — sub-bass vibrations and shimmering instrumentation are all conjured to a startling effect.
