The Out of Body Special to hold one-night gig in the south this August

People of the south, The Out of Body Special "want to make you happy" this August.

The 'Sexy Beast' act will finally be bringing their urban fusion tunes to 19 East on August 10 (Friday). The demand for their return follows last year's reunion show at Route 196, where they celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album Is Love.

Think Things Through, a brainchild of a team's love for homegrown music and culture, will be waking The Out of Body Special out of their hibernation with this upcoming show.

"The band has a unique touch in funk, jazz, and hip-hop to make for a refreshing sound and an entertaining show; made all the more exciting by a one-night only performance for this series," the production shares with Bandwagon in a message. "The group seeks to deviate from the run-of-the-mill productions in the local scene by putting out a series well thought of events and gigs; hence the name. Everything is well curated; from the theme, to the acts selected and even down to the artwork, in order to ensure that each volume in the series will be a completely immersive experience for both the audience and the artists."
