The show to properly round off the year, *SCAPE The Invasion 2016

After the massive success of last year's edition, the hardworking *SCAPE Invasion crew are capping off yet another school year with full-day youth festival in Orchard Road celebrating homegrown music and musicians.

Taking place at The Ground Theatre on 17 December, 2016's year-end *SCAPE The Invasion will be hosting a jam-packed schedule of performances stretching all the way from 2pm till 10pm.

Featuring artists such as bluesy singer-songwriter Shak'thiya Subramaniamm, synth-pop outfit Disco Hue, indie-pop upstarts The Neptune Waves, wuxia-inspired alt-rockers Supersect 超级派, famed folktronica artist Inch, Singaporean pop star Sezairi and recent Sing! China sensation Nathan Hartono - the event aims to showcase a healthy variety of genres and styles.

In addition, the line-up will also be punctuated by special collaborative performances by funk and soul artists bittymacbeth & Dru Chen, acoustic troubadours LEW & Joie Tan, and an energetic indie rock from Take Two featuring the boys from Stopgap.

Outside of the live music programme, *SCAPE The Invasion 2016 will offer a diverse range activities ranging from dance and art to photography as well.

Additionally, attendees will also be treated to on-site competitions, networking opportunities with the industry veterans and an interesting SoulSwap exchange programme where you stand a chance to trade in a personal item of significance with someone else (perhaps your favourite local musician!).

Tickets are now available via Peatix and you can follow the official Facebook event page for further updates.
