TOMORROW x TOGETHER (TXT) have reached the top spot for the first time on the Billboard 200.
Their latest mini-album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION landed No. 1 in this week's chart with 161,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. This marks the biggest U.S. sales week since Taylor Swift's Midnights.
This is also the 'Sugar Rush Ride' act's third album to rank on the chart, with their previous releases The Chaos Chapter: Freeze and Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child landing the fifth spot in 2021 and the fourth spot in 2022, respectively.
The 'Good Boy Gone Bad' hitmakers are now included in the list of South Korean music artists who have snagged the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Supergroup SuperM's SuperM: The 1st Mini Album topped the charts in October 2019. Stray Kids' Oddinary debuted at No. 1 in March 2022. BLACKPINK became the first female K-pop group to reach the top spot with Born Pink in September 2022, while BigHit Music labelmates BTS has six chart-topping albums, including their career-spanning anthology album, Proof.
In 2022, TXT went on a world tour that took the group across 13 cities around the globe, including Osaka, Tokyo, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Manila. The group is set to embark on their ACT: SWEET MIRAGE TOUR starting this March.
