Tomorrowland Belgium 2026 has officially come to a close after two weekends at De Schorre in Boom, welcoming 400,000 festivalgoers from more than 200 countries while reaching a record-breaking 233 million livestream views across YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
Held 17–19 July and 24–26 July, this year's edition revolved around Consciencia, a new festival theme exploring six universal emotions — Wonder, Love, Anger, Joy, Desire, and Sadness. Rather than assigning stages solely by genre, Tomorrowland built each of its 16 stages around an emotional identity, with stage design, production, and programming reflecting one of the six themes.
The concept also came to life on the festival's largest Mainstage to date. Standing over 43 metres tall and 140 metres wide, the structure featured towering waterfalls, fountains, lasers, and six giant sculptures representing the emotions at the heart of Consciencia. The ambitious production marked a major return for Tomorrowland following last year's Mainstage fire, which forced organisers to rethink the festival's centrepiece shortly before opening.
Away from the Mainstage, more than 500 artists performed across the festival grounds. Among the standout moments was Calvin Harris' long-awaited Tomorrowland Belgium debut, closing the Mainstage on both Saturdays with a career-spanning set. During Weekend 1, John Newman joined Harris onstage for a live performance of 'Blame', while techno star Charlotte de Witte surprised fans with an unannounced Mainstage appearance after weeks of speculation.

The festival also had to adapt to unusually dry weather conditions. Belgian authorities imposed restrictions on fireworks and pyrotechnics during the opening weekend because of elevated wildfire risks. While limited close-range effects returned for Weekend 2, Tomorrowland replaced many of its signature fireworks with large-scale LED visuals across the Mainstage screens.
Beyond the music, organisers also teased what's next for the festival brand. A banner displayed near Dreamville hinted at a possible Tomorrowland expansion to Las Vegas in 2027 alongside events in France, Belgium, Brazil, Ibiza, and Thailand, though organisers have yet to officially reveal further details.
Not every headline was celebratory. During the opening weekend, two original paintings commissioned for the Consciencia theme were stolen from the Tomorrowland Restaurant. One artwork, Love, was later recovered and returned before Weekend 2, while Desire remains missing.
For fans watching from around the world, Tomorrowland's digital presence continued to grow. The festival's livestream attracted 233 million views—surpassing last year's 193 million and setting a new record for the event. The figures underline how Tomorrowland has evolved beyond an on-site festival into one of electronic music's largest global broadcast experiences.
The festival also drew a number of familiar faces from Singapore, with radio personality Sonia Chew, content creators Saffron Sharpe and Edo Lio among those spotted at Tomorrowland Belgium 2026.

Although organisers have yet to unveil the theme for 2027, they have suggested that the Consciencia storyline may continue in future editions, hinting that this year's exploration of human emotion may be only the beginning of a larger narrative.
