Universal Music Vietnam (UMV) is launching a new label.
On 28 July, it was announced that UMV has partnered with leading Vietnamese media company METUBĀ to launch a new music label monoX.
The two companies announced this breakthrough collaboration at a press conference held in Ho Chi Minh City. Inspired by young creative talent in the Vietnamese music scene, monoX seeks to develop these rising artists and spotlight them on the global stage.
monoX's first slate of artists was announced at the press conference, which includes Wren Evans, Evy, and Daisy.

CEO of monoX, Kendall Nguyen said, "We hope to attract artists and fans with similar vibes, locate our tribe and create music that transcends borders."
Evans previously released the single 'Con Dau (The Pain)' earlier this month via monoX and is currently working on his debut album. Meanwhile, Evy and Daisy are both slated to release new music soon as well.
