Last week, the Bandwagon team got to hang out with celebrated keyboardist, singer and beatboxer Taylor McFerrin just hours before his show-stealing performance during the opening night of SingJazz 2016.

Not only did we get to conduct an in-depth, on-camera interview with the amiable Brainfeeder producer (look out for that soon), we were also treated to an exclusive live performance right there in a Marina Bay Sands hotel suite!

Watch as Taylor McFerrin whips up a stunning improvised performance using Ableton Live and his nifty little Akai LPK25 MIDI keyboard. Lasting almost 8 minutes, the whole impromptu jam was a pleasure to witness in-person, giving us a little sneak peek into the spontaneous creativity brimming within the man, while also serving as a tasty teaser to his wonderful set later that evening.
