Electronic-folk act Matter Halo hail from South Tanggerang, consisting of Ibnu Dian (on vocal, guitar, mandolin & panflute) and Ganidra Rai (on bass, vocal & synthesizer). They were interviewed for an interview serial by Gianni Fajri. The first part has been on their YouTube channel (13/6).

Ibnu and Gani have been friends since junior high school, sharing the same hobby: drawing. The activity got them closer and that led to experiments with other art-related activities. Then it finally led them to music, from doing covers of bands to writing their own songs.

They have sold self-pressed EPs and a clash of visions between the band members. The project that started out as a five-piece was left one by one by the members during the process. And then there were two: Ibnu and Gani.
