MR. BIG LIVE IN SINGAPORE 2017

The 90s hard rock icon MR. BIG is heading back to Singapore after three years for a one-night only performance at Kallang Theatre.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, the American band has produced a string of chart-toppers like “To Be With You,” “Just Take My Heart,” “Wild World,” “Nothing But Love,” and “Green-Tinted Sixties Mind”. Apart from these crowd favourites, the band will also be playing new tracks from their newly released ninth studio album, Defying Gravity.

Defying Gravity deftly showcases the unique MR. BIG blend of crunch and melody – marked with Eric Martin’s strong vocals and complemented by the band’s instrumental technical proficiency.

One of MR. BIG’s biggest selling point has always been the virtuosic bandmates – bassist Billy Sheehan has collaborated with Steve Vai and David Lee Roth; guitarist Paul Gilbert is labelled as the number one American guitarist in Japan.

Despite having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease recently, drummer Pat Torpey will continue to tour with the band and play a couple of songs at each show. Torpey is supported by Matt Starr, the drummer for Ace Frehley (KISS).

The Asian leg of the tour includes Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, and ends with Singapore as its final stop.

Known for their brilliant harmonies, the band promises nothing short of great music and a good time for their upcoming show.

MR. BIG Live in Singapore 2017 is promoted by Shining Entertainment Investment, and co-promoted by Asia Arts & Culture Pte Ltd.
