There are now several new ways to experience Alan Walker's 'Believers' thanks to the creativity of artists from the Asian music scene.
On 2 June, Tencent-owned music streaming platform JOOX unveiled a new compilation EP comprising five reimagined versions of the English-Norwegian DJ producer's 2021 single, which was recorded in collaboration with singer-songwriter Conor Maynard.
Titled "Believers (Remixes)", the project includes a rearranged version of 'Believers' with Mandarin lyrics by producer T.Ma and singer-actress Joyce Cheng from Hong Kong, a funky techno spin on the song by Indonesian DJ Dipha Barus, a ballad version by Indonesian sensation Anneth Delliecia, a classic Malaysian music-infused rendition by Malaysian singer Naim Daniel, and a dance-pop remix by Thai producer BOTCASH.

Walker, who is also the mind behind hits such as 'Faded' and 'On My Way' said: "I'm so happy that this great line-up of artists wanted to join in on remixing 'Believers'! Working on this project together has been incredibly rewarding, and it's amazing to see all the different visions and directions they've taken the track. I'm inspired by how other artists put their own spin on a track, and they all bring something completely different to the table. I hope that we get to play them live one day!"
The JOOX-exclusive EP, which can be streamed here, is part of the music streaming platform's global music collaboration initiative, through which it hopes to show that "music can indeed go beyond all borders".

Fans can stand a chance to score autographed Alan Walker merchandise by participating in the "#BelieversonBuzz" challenge on JOOX. To enter the competition, users will have to film videos of themselves with the remixes of 'Believers' as background music using the app's Buzz feature. They will also have to include the provided "Believers" stickers in their creations.
JOOX is currently available for users in Hong Kong – China, Macao – China, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and South Africa via the official JOOX website, the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store.
