BABYMETAL to celebrate 10th anniversary with special compilation album, announce Bring Me the Horizon collaboration

2020 is a big year for BABYMETAL as they celebrate their 10th anniversary this December, and they're getting fans involved.

The Japanese kawaii metal act will be releasing 10 editions of their upcoming 10 BABYMETAL Years compilation album on December 23 (Wednesday). At least one of the editions of the album will feature tracks curated by fans through BABYMETAL's ongoing bracket-style tournament on Twitter. 

Members of BABYMETAL's official fan club THE ONE will also be given special access to the video premiere of BABYMETAL's Meguro Rockmaykan performance this December. A portion of the proceeds from online tickets will be donated to Meguro Rockmaykan and BABYMETAL's touring crew, who have been affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. UPDATE (11/11): BABYMETAL have announced that they are also releasing 10 BABYMETAL YEARS on vinyl with a limited edition calendar poster, available on December 23.

On Thursday at midnight (10/15), British alternative metal act Bring Me the Horizon announced the official tracklist and album art for their upcoming seventh studio album Post Human: Survival Horror, set for release on October 30 (Friday).

The album includes a collaboration with BABYMETAL on the track 'Kingslayer,' as well as guest spots by Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee, YUNGBLUD, and Nova Twins.

(UPDATE 10/30): Bring Me The Horizon dropped their latest studio album Post Human: Survival Horror, which includes their collaboration with BABYMETAL on 'Kingslayer.'

In September, BABYMETAL released of their live concert Blu-Ray/DVD/CD offering LEGEND - METAL GALAXY.
