"'Good For A Time' is more than just a breakup song, it's about a couple presently breaking up and going through the painful process of untethering while looking back fondly and appreciating the love that was," Kheng shares in a statement.

"I never imagined I’d get the chance to work closely with him on such a wonderful song. I knew immediately after hearing the demo he co-wrote with Linying, that it was going to be a beautiful track no matter the treatment," Lorenzo, who met Kheng at a YouTuber conference where he was a speaker while she attended as an academy finalist, shares with Bandwagon in a message. "Josh Wei did a wonderful job bringing everyone’s vision to the surface and I feel privileged to have witnessed from the outside, the care and hard work he put in to get the track to where it is. If you ask me, my experience working with Ben has really set the bar for all collaborations to come. He’s an artist who also plays cheerleader to all the individuals in his team—I observed this as he just can’t help but speak highly of the talent and effort he considers himself lucky to be working with. I did not expect to find a friend in him and I’m looking forward to seeing him do more great things with his passion and his music."

'Good for a Time' follows Kheng's November offering 'Baby Mama' with Australian producer James Angus. The upcoming single is also Lorenzo's first release since she dropped her first Tagalog-language track 'Kapalaran', co-written by Ben&Ben's Paolo Guico, in October 2020.
