BTS make history at homecoming concert 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' with 2.46 million viewers worldwide

With a global audience of 2.46 million viewers on VenewLive, BTS wraps up their three-night concert series, ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - IN SEOUL’.

The much-anticipated musical event was the talk of the town over last weekend, marking the first in-person concert for the global superstars in their home country, South Korea,  2 years after the BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final]. Fans all across the globe were also able to catch RM, Jin, SUGA, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook take the stage via livestreams on VenewLive and in cinemas around the world.

Over 1.02 million ARMYs (BTS fans) from 191 regions tuned in during the screening of their live stream on 10th and 13th of March whereas nearly 1.4 million were in attendance across 3,711 cinemas on 12th March for the live cinema broadcast event ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL: LIVE VIEWING’, with reported sold-out theatre screenings worldwide. At the in-person concert, 45,000 fans got to reunite with BTS across three days, with a homecoming to be talked about for years to come.

"These three days have been like miracles," BTS conveyed the same, genuine sentiments as fans who have waited to see the 'Dynamite' act again, "After a month, after a year, and even in the far future, we will always be waiting for you."

The ‘Butter’ hitmakers showed their tender dedication to present a show that was individual and unique to their audiences across the three days by curating setlist variations for the three shows. Performing 20 of their fan-favourite tracks from their discographies like ‘Black Swan’, ‘ON’ IDOL’, ‘Dynamite’ and even older hits like ‘Dope’, ‘I NEED U’ and ‘Save ME’, BTS proved why they're this generation's biggest pop stars with their stellar performances, partnered with their immense stage presence.

Despite not being able to cheer with singing and using their voices, fans used their clappers and slogans to show their support, and of course, their ARMY Bombs to light up the Jamsil Olympic Stadium.

These three shows are definitely not the last that fans will be treated to, with BTS slated for the Las Vegas leg of their world tour on 8,9,15, and 16 April 2022. The shows will also be available via Live Play, as well as online via VenewLive for 16 April.
