Filipino fans cheer on BTS and ARMY at PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL concert

"After a month, after a year, and even in the far future, we will always be waiting for you."

BTS make this promise to ARMYs (fans of BTS) as they performed in Seoul for the first time since 2019.

Here's how Filipino ARMYs are welcoming BTS' 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' LIVE VIEWING at SM Cinemas

A historic moment for both the 'Dynamite' act and Korean fans, the show also marked the group's first "clapping concert" since fans were restricted to clapping and waving their ARMY Bombs to cheer for the band.

BTS make history at homecoming concert 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' with 2.46 million viewers worldwide

With over 45,000 fans across three nights at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium, ARMYs across the globe also tuned in via livestream on VenewLive. On 12 March, 1.4 million fans watched the show with their ARMY friends in 3,711 cinemas across 75 regions globally. Millions of fans cheered for both BTS and the K-ARMYs in attendance at the highly-anticipated reunion, a hopeful sign that "the wait is over" soon for fans everywhere else.

In a letter addressed to fans after the shows, BTS leader RM writes: "you were always the best part of it all," reminding ARMYs how much they appreciate their support and love throughout the 3-day concert. RM also shares how they look forward to the day they can hear ARMYs' voices again, and asks fans to "please wait a little longer for us!"

While we all patiently for these days to come,  Filipino BTS fan Charisse Vilchez tells (and shows) us all about watching the concert with hundreds of Filipino ARMYs singing (in pitch-perfect harmonies, no less), dancing with their ARMY Bombs and fanmade slogans in the air to support both BTS and K-ARMYs, and hoping for the 'Butter' act to return to our shows once more (after all, their last visit to Manila was for their Wings Tour in 2017).

Chingus reunite. Two friends had a meal before the concert and shared that it’s been two years since they saw each other. For a lot of people, this screening has become a reunion of sorts.

SPOTTED. It was easy to spot a PH ARMY- it could be the shirt they were wearing, the purple masks they had on and Bangtan-inspired trinkets dangling from their bags.

Choose your bias and make new friends. From online to offline, this group stays strong for their bias

They walk the talk. At an SM Mall of Asia screening, there was a UNICEF booth to support the Love Myself advocacy. Filipino ARMYS show their support by donating whatever they can to help support campaigns for violence against children.

Volunteers for the screening give fellow ARMYs warm welcomes before entering the cinema.

Analogue or Digital. Filipino ARMYs document every single detail of the Live Viewing whether it's on their film cameras or camera phones.

SELCA FIRST. Friends take a selfie a few minutes before the concert starts to document this special moment.

Going all out. Filipinas go the extra mile to show their love for OT7 through their creative concert fits inspired by Bangtan themselves.

We don’t need permission to dance. Filipino ARMYs danced the night away as if they were at Jamsil Olympic Stadium with RM, Jin, SUGA, J-hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and Korean ARMYs.

Telepathy. Even if PH ARMYs are far from Seoul, they know they’re still together in heart and spirit.

New Generation Anpanman. Filipino fans can't wait for their heroes to have an actual concert in the country soon, holding on to BTS' promise of another meeting – someday.

BTS are set to meet more fans as they head back to their US for their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LAS VEGAS concerts this April.
