BTS has partnered with UNICEF once again.

In an announcement made today (05/03), the Grammy-nominated act has confirmed that they will be renewing their LOVE MYSELF campaign with UNICEF to help "end violence and neglect while simultaneously promoting children and young people’s self-esteem and well-being".

The members of BTS (minus Suga who recently underwent shoulder surgery), released a video announcing the commencement of the campaign, where they expressed their appreciation to be part of the project, and how it has all reminded the group to love themselves.

RM: "We are extremely moved and thankful that our LOVE MYSELF campaign, which began with small steps, is now being elevated to an even bigger partnership. We also strived to 'love myself' ourselves, and I think we as a team and as individuals grew as well."

Jin: "Since we've put our name to this campaign, I thought I should be the first to follow the campaign message. I felt that I should begin loving myself more, and always kept LOVE MYSELF at the forefront of my thoughts and came to love myself more and more."

Jimin: "All the members and I started this campaign so that more people could genuinely smile.  I thought we were doing this for people around us but I realized as time passed that many changes also happened within myself."

J-hope: "There was incredible power made possible by people united in one thought and heart... I think all of you have felt how the love you receive from people around you can become the power that allows you to love yourself, too."

V: "LOVE MYSELF starts with a message to love yourself but it's ultimately a message of loving each other and loving everyone. I realised through LOVE MYSELF how much love I'm receiving and that has made me love myself more and love others more."

Jungkook: "LOVE MYSELF is both our message to the world and a message I always told myself and had to tell myself... I am so happy hen our fans say they were able to get back on their feet after hearing our message of LOVE MYSELF, and I hope this message can continue to serve to invigorate everyone's lives."

Also, as part of the renewed campaign, BTS and Big Hit Entertainment will be donating over USD 1 million to UNICEF, along with proceeds from the LOVE MYSELF merchandise and a portion of the LOVE YOURSELF album sales.

The LOVE MYSELF campaign was first launched in 2017. Since then, the campaign has raised close to USD 3 million worldwide for UNICEF's efforts to end violence against children and young people and has even promoted the message of self-love worldwide.

In 2018 and 2020, as part of the campaign, BTS addressed the United Nations to deliver a heartfelt message of hope, strength, and love to people across the world.
