BTS' RM to narrate 'The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art' exhibit in LA

BTS' RM is lending his voice to promote modern Korean art across the globe.

Fans of the global superstar will get the chance to hear RM talk about ten select pieces from The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art, an upcoming exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) in California.

The exhibition is said to feature pieces that depict Korean artists' reinterpretation of foreign influences that helped shape modern art. The first of its kind in Western countries, The Space Between will feature over 130 artworks by 88 artists made from 1897-1965. The exhibit is also the second leg of an exhibition series initiated by The Hyundai Project: Korean Art Scholarship Initiative.

The Space Between: The Modern in Korean Art is co-hosted by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), which RM also actively and publicly supports. On his birthday last year, the multihyphenate reportedly donated 100 million won to the museum's foundation to help produce art publications for public libraries and schools in Korea.

RM, whose real name is Kim Namjoon, is a known patron of the arts who takes his fascination and appreciation for many art pieces on his Instagram account.
