BTS' Agust D makes history as first Asian solo artist to hit #1 on 100 iTunes charts for 'Daechwita' and D-2

Agust D has made music history.

This September, the BTS member (also known as Suga) became the first Korean solo artist to top the single and album iTunes charts in over 100 countries for '대취타 (Daechwita)' and his second mixtape D-2, respectively, following Adele's 'Hello' and 25.

Agust D's latest milestone also marks him as the first Asian artist to reach this feat. On the same note, D-2, which dropped on May 22, is the first album from 2020 to hit the #1 spot of 100 iTunes album charts globally within four months of its release.
