On 13 August, 12 AM KST, the rapper and former 2NE1 member confirmed that she will be releasing two new singles ahead of her debut album drop in October.  'SPICY,' the first single off ALPHA is slated for release on 24 August, while a second single will be out in September.

The upcoming tracks will be the musician's latest release since February's 'Wish You Were Here', which was dedicated to her late mother.

In other news, CL signed an exclusive contract with Konnect Entertainment on 10 July to manage her domestic promotions in Korea. The label is founded by and houses K-pop star Kang Daniel.
