Gentle Bones adds second show at Esplanade Concert Hall

Gentle Bones adds second show at Esplanade Concert Hall

Even as he experienced a setback late last year, which halted his career for a few months, it's clear there's still a huge demand for Gentle Bones.

The Singaporean singer-songwriter, real name Joel Tan, recently announced his live comeback, due on June 10 at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

SingJazz Festival 2016 helped made it possible for us to bring you this week's news. (What is this?)

Sing Jazz returns for its third run, featuring a stunning array of modern and legendary acts over one weekend. Use our promo code JAZZ4BANDWAGON for 10% off advance tickets.

However, in just 10 days following the announcement, the show has officially sold out. Now, he's adding another date to accommodate the growing fanbase.

“There is so much in store in the near future and my show at The Esplanade will be the first time I get to showcase them," says Tan in a press release. "Having sold out an entire hall on the first night, I am now given the opportunity to present both the old and the new to even more people. I am ecstatic and I hope this leap of faith pays off.”

On June 11, Gentle Bones will take to the stage with an opening set by Linying, who just premiered her newest single 'Alpine'. The original June 10th date will feature electronic duo .gif. Gentle Bones is signed to record label Universal Music Singapore.

Tickets for the newly-added second show will go on sale this Friday, February 19th on SISTIC. Ticket prices are S$45, S$35 and S$25. Maybank eVibes and Platinum VISA cardholders will enjoy 10% discount on tickets for a 30-day period, from 19 Feb to 29 Mar 2016.
