Linying provides melodic catharsis with new single, 'Alpine'

As she continues to perform more shows and garner a fanbase for herself, Linying is currently hard at work on new material.

Last Friday, the Singaporean singer-songwriter released her second single, the brooding and texturally-rich 'Alpine'. Running just under four minutes, the new song highlights Linying's strengths with oblique, poetic lyricism and, like 'Sticky Leaves', an unshakeable focus on melodic catharsis. The song received its live debut on the Bandwagon Riverboat in January.

SingJazz Festival 2016 helped made it possible for us to bring you this week's news. (What is this?)
