Spotify introduces a new karaoke scoring function on their latest update! 

Aside from the recent launch of their ‘Supergrouper’ feature, the popular music streaming application is rolling out a fun, new component that allows users to bring sing-alongs to the comfort of their own home.

Spotify, having long produced an automatic navigation lyrics function, has added a little sound bar on top of it and an “accuracy scale” that rates individuals on their singing, just as karaokes commonly do. 

Having already gone live for some users, others can look forward to seeing their scores for their own vocal performances in the next few days, as long as the app is fully updated. 

For those interested to try their hand at attaining scores of flying colours, the karaoke feature is easily available by launching the app, selecting a song, and clicking on the ‘Sing’ button, positioned a down-scroll away.
