Jackson Wang is back with a new single. 

On 26 July, the multihyphenate announced that he will be releasing his new single 'Cruel', the latest glimpse into his upcoming MAGICMAN album, this 29 July. Jackson initially debuted the track at 88rising's Head In The Clouds showcase at Coachella.

Described to be a "beautiful mental breakdown", the track is said to perfectly depict the warped and complex story that MAGICMAN tells. The album will be released later this year.

(UPDATE 28/07): 88rising released the latest teaser for the 'Cruel' music video. The 15-second dance clip shows Jackson Wang with glowing eyes, his body covered in dirt and ash as he strums invisible strings on a woman.

'Cruel' follows the release of 'Blow', which dropped last March.
