JAY B is ending 2021 with a surprise for his fans.

On 31 December, the GOT7 member revealed that he will be dropping an EP titled Love. under his moniker, Def. In his Instagram story, he shared what seems to be the cover art, along with the start date for physical album pre-orders: 5 January 2022. The upcoming EP will be released under Warner Music Korea.

Love is slated for release on 26 January 2022. 

Love—which spans six tracks—is now available for pre-order from KTown4u, Aladin, Hot Tracks, Yes24, and Synnara from 5 to 12 January.

JAY B mentioned in an interview with Bandwagon earlier this year that he will be releasing music as Def. once he's ready. "I think that Def. is a more casual version of me. JAY B would show a relatively cooler and prepared side." He added: "I’m planning to try various things other than music as Def."

'Honey,' a track released by Def. in October, is listed as one of Bandwagon's Best K-pop YouTube and SoundCloud Releases of the Year. Meanwhile, JAY B's SOMO:FUME is named as one of Bandwagon's Best EPs of 2021.
