Disney+ will make its long-awaited debut in Singapore next week and The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will be organising a special event to commemorate the occasion.

Scheduled to take place on 8 PM on Wednesday (24 February), the night after the streaming platform launches in Singapore, the event — titled "A Night of Disney+" — will feature performances by prominent names from the Singapore music scene, including Mandopop star JJ Lin, singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono, pop sensation Benjamin Kheng, and electro-folk singer Annette Lee.

The Walt Disney Company has also teased a "transformation" of the Marina Bay area in the event's surprise grand finale.

With the arrival of Disney+, fans in Singapore will gain access to a myriad of films and television series, including WandaVision and all films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars series The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars, as well as classic animated films from the Disney catalogue.
