Johnson Wen, the man who made headlines for rushing Ariana Grande at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore, has now been ejected from Lady Gaga’s tour stop in Brisbane.
Security at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium identified and removed Wen from the venue before the show began, reportedly due to his prior history of disruptive behaviour. Wen had previously gone viral under the nickname Pyjama Man after grabbing Grande on the yellow carpet last month — an incident that led to his arrest and a public nuisance conviction in Singapore. He has since been banned from re-entering the country.

According to reports, concert security had preemptively flagged Wen and distributed photos of him ahead of Gaga’s show, ensuring staff would be able to spot him quickly. Fans in attendance caught the moment of his removal, with social media footage showing Wen being escorted out while some attendees cheered and others looked on in confusion.
This is just the latest in a string of incidents involving Wen. He’s known for a pattern of so-called “stunt behaviour” at high-profile events, and despite international backlash, appears to have continued attending major pop concerts — until now.

Lady Gaga has not publicly addressed the incident, but the swift action by security underscores an increasing trend in the live music world: keeping fans and artists safe is non-negotiable. In an era where stage crashes and boundary-pushing fan encounters have become more frequent, Wen’s ejection serves as a stark reminder of what isn’t acceptable — no matter how devoted a fan may claim to be.
